职位描述

Principle duties:

1. Market Analysis:

· Work with regional PPM to analyze markets and trends (Market demands, regulations, channels.) in order to detect the best growth opportunities for JCH.

· Collect Voice of Customer by collaborating with regional PPM to ensure our offering fits with customer, sales and channel requirements.

· Carry out market research.

· Collect and consolidate technical requirements such as performance, controls, refrigerant and certifications.

· Analyze competitors’ offering.

· Work closely with JCH Japan chiller PM to leverage offerings for global market, helping JCH to get a comprehensive line card globally.


2. Product Strategy:

· Define JCH global chiller product strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets.

· Envision JCH global chiller positioning. Ensure product innovation and differentiation.

· Drive Gaps analysis for different regional market and product type, especially for customized product.

· Work closely and coordinate efforts with our RDI team to develop the appropriate technology roadmap to serve our global chiller product strategy.

· Work closely and coordinate efforts with JCH Japan chiller PM to consolidate the global chiller strategy by sharing platform, key technology and components, etc.


3. Product Roadmap:

· Collect market requirements and prioritize. Find out best opportunities in our product development plan.

· Conduct quantitative and financial business analysis to develop business cases, then present recommendations to senior management and gain approval for development of global chiller products and offerings.

· Engage with manufacturing and other functional leaders to define the best manufacturing site. Engage in costing analysis.


4. Product Development:

· Deliver Product Vision summarizing features, specification, cost and time to market, to Engineering team and Project Management team in order to kick off product development. Ensure targets and market requirements are fully understood by the development team.

· Participate in the product development through Gate reviews of our Product Development Process (PDP). Always ensure that expectations of customers and channels will be satisfied.


5. Sales Enablement:

· Work with regional PPM and Global Product Marketing team to define the needs in terms of sales support tools.

· Work with regional PPM and prepare the training materials for new products, participate to elaborate the material (.ppt) with support of Engineering team and marketing team.

· Participate to product launch, collect feedback of customers and channel during field events.

· Follow new product introduction performances.


6. Lifecycle Management

· Collaborate with finance to Review and understand overall portfolio performance.

· Collaborate with regional PPM to review and understand Market Share and Channel performance.

· Rationalize the offerings. Detect cost down needs on existing range to meet profitability expectations.

· Propose products improvement.

· Define the right timing for phase out of products that don’t meet the financial targets or market expectations


Skills, requirements:

· Good knowledge about Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) applications, especially about global screw and scroll chiller products.

· Demonstrate leadership, ability to communicate with impact and strategic thinking.

· Demonstrate ability to navigate and build relationship in large matrix organization, across multiple cultures, multiple locations, and diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.

· A previous experience in Sales or other customer facing roles is a plus.

· Fluent English. Other languages are a plus (Japanese, Chinese especially).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power point).

· Position located in Shanghai.
