Objective

Plan, schedule, facilitate, and track all aspects of medium/routine product related projects which require coordination across multiple departments.

First Year Goals 

Collaborate- take ownership of planning and tracking a casino systems software release, from inception to submission.

Lead- ? with the assigned project team, create clear project plans, forecasts, and schedules that are updated regularly.

Facilitate- learn casino systems development process and utilize detailed understanding to remove project barriers and roadblocks.

Communicate- utilize Jira to create milestone based project plans, understand iterations and report project metrics and costing.

Assert- ensure best project management principles while supporting innovation and the creative process by balancing business plan commitments and team development.

Position Summary

·     Define activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project

·     Manage resources and materials committed to the project

·     Implement corporate operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes

·     Facilitate and participate in cross-functional project meetings to monitor progress, share information and develop action items for assigned project team members

·     Prepare Cost Estimation Sheets and enter associated forecast in PPM

·     Organizes specific project meetings (planning, kickoff, milestone demos, retrospectives, CR reviews)

·     Monitor project milestones and report on progress and status to management; flag missed milestones

·     Support teams and leaders with cost / benefit decisions

·     Accountable for project completion by scheduled date

·     Escalate non-routine operating issues or problems to gain cooperation of senior members of the team

Required Qualifications 

·     Bachelor's degree (preferably in Management, Business, Engineering or Information Technology) or equivalent experience

·     Certification - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

·     Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum environments is considered an asset

·     Experience with project management scheduling tools, such as MS Project or Clarity

·     Knows how to facilitate standup meetings, planning sessions and retrospectives
