POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

China Customer Service and Logistics supports China IG business, has an opening position specializing in Optimization and Data analysis.  This role is desired to provide technical knowhow and expertise in data mining, analysis, and delivering advanced analytical solutions to meet functional needs. The position will be responsible for serving as an individual contributor in a team environment working on specific projects or problems of varying scope and complexity.  The candidate will serve as an internal consultant in the areas of customer service research (customer journey analysis) and statistical/predictive modeling and will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge in these key technical areas. 

Nature and Scope

This position will be set in China customer service and logistics optimization team as an optimization analyst, data analyst.

The role will be a member of a highly specialized staff who provide operational research and advanced analytical services that help enable CSL team make more effective decisions leading to excellent customer service and increased productivity.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.      Position requires a Master/ bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline 

2.       At least 2 years working experience in related areas 

3.       Strong programming skills with working knowledge of SQL, VBA, and Python programming 

4.       Have experience with SAP system and understand SAP main data structure will be plus

5.       Strong MS Excel, MS Access, and Statistic package (e.g. Minitab, SPSS, SAS, R, etc.) skills 

6.       Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, and networking skills

7.       Ability to work independently and within a team to solve challenging problems 

8.       Basic project management and facilitation skills with the ability to influence, work effectively and implement solutions in a cross-functional, multi-regional team environment
