SPIDER Engineer
This position is for developing digital edge production engineer for Air Products IG China Productions, with several training assignments inside production and get permanent job in SPIDER control center in Shanghai.

Training program

1. 6~12 months in Production site (Nanjing, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia) at least 6 months working for shift job;
2. Finished assigned classes/training program from SPIDER manager;

Permanent job location will be in Shanghai.

Tasks to expected complete during assignment:

• Achieve Level-1 level (entry level) operator’s level to operate complex Air Separation Plant, include major equipment, DCS operating and basic troubleshooting
• 1级(入门级)操作人员水平，能够操作复杂的空分设备，包括主要设备、DCS操作和基本故障排除
• Be able to develop simple applications for data-driven optimization and operating instructions within EXCEL (VBA), or Python and R, Minitab, MATLAB.
• 能够在EXCEL (VBA)、Python和R、Minitab、MATLAB中开发数据驱动优化和操作指令的简单应用程序。
• Complete at least 3 MOOC (such as Coursera) course in English (Company pay the cost), expecting 50% work time and 50% personal time on

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide first line support on plant optimization and reliability improvement through expertise technical skill/advanced controls approaches/data management model, etc.

• Follow AP industrial 4.0 plan, deploy innovative approaches, iterative applications to make plant running better and better, and turn site plants to be intelligence plants.
• 遵循AP工业4.0计划，部署创新的方法，迭代的应用程序，使工厂运行得越来越好，并把现场工厂变成智能工厂
• Developing specialized tools for optimizing and monitoring plant.

• Collect the found problems of plants and feedback it to VLASU SPOC, improve our products competition ability.
• 收集工厂发现的问题并反馈给VLASU SPOC，提高我们产品的竞争力
• Collaborate PTS engineers to deal with abnormal alarm and trip reason, and do the troubling shooting, may lead RCA meeting.
• 协助PTS工程师处理异常报警和跳闸原因，并做好故障的拍摄，可能会领导RCA会议
• Identify, develop and design improved operating and control strategies to achieve productivity targets. Develop tracking programs and metrics for plant optimization and efficiency, Monitor the targets against expected performance. Areas of emphasis include: manufacturing cost reduction, utilities consumption/cost/supply, production process reliability and capacity expansions.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree, with Major of Chemical Engineering, Thermo Engineering, Process Control, Process Equipment or other process industrial related.
• 本科学历，化工、热工、过程控制、过程设备等相关专业
• Fluent to use at least one computer language coding, and have interest on digital applications, both software and hardware

• Good English level, able to self-learn English content on-line education, completed English MOOC course will be plus
