Job responsibilities:

· Play a leading role in establishing and maintaining contracts and purchasing agreements for key commodities such as new CRO project, equipment/ devices, construction project etc.

· Source, screen, develop and define suppliers following supplier sourcing strategy for targeted commodities and conduct supplier price negotiation to meet annual cost saving targets

· Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, continually optimize processes for quality and OTD improvement to achieve quality target (especially for CRO projects)

· Assist Procurement Manager on PO execution by leading the team to deal with contract compliance, variation and claim procedures, etc.

· Coordinate meetings with project team/ internal /external stakeholders to figure out effective measures to handle pending/ controversial/complaining matters and track the implementation

· Understand the operation and constantly make suggestions to improve procurement management system

· Conduct troubleshooting or firefighting as requested

Job requirements:

· BS with major in Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent training with industrial experience on supply chain management /project management

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in sourcing and supplier management, preferrly in the field of CRO service/Biologics Discovery

· Knowledge of MRP/ERP/SAP/U8/K3 system

· Knowledge of Incoterm and contract laws

· Possess good business sense and effective negotiation skills

· Ability to work under limited supervision and handle complex problems, Ability to work with cross function teams
