Job Title : Application Specialist

Report to : Application Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is assigned to provide technical and applications support to our customers as well as potential customers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist the pre-sales process by demonstrating the technical advantages of DS products to customers, field staff and distributor staff , by different ways from seminars, WebEx to local workshop
2. Work with marketing department and sales staff to ensure DS provides excellent customer support for related DS products
3. Work with customers to fully understand DS products and application methodology
4. Act as a primary technical resource for Sales and Marketing
5. Provide marketing department with applications advice and feedback especially first hand information concerning DS products, ensuring products are targeted well and the most appropriate product is sold in order to satisfy the customers needs and expectation
6. Resolving technical queries quickly and expertly either over the phone or visiting a customer site
7. Conducting customer training of instrument, reagent and consumable systems where applicable
8. Conducting workshops highlighting the technical advantages of DS products
9. Identify faulty reagents, processes or hardware where they adversely effect system performance
10. Assist customers to utilize instrument and reagent systems both efficiently and effectively so as to maximize customer satisfaction as well as revenues for DS
11. Conducting in-house training of Sales, Marketing and Support staff wherever a need is identified
12. Facilitating and coordinating product trials locally
13. Identify market potential for new products and explore new opportunities by closely aligning with field sales and our customers

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Master's Degree (MS) in Micro biology, Diagnostics, Clinical medicine preferred.

3. 与客户密切联系，充分理解DS产品及其应用方法；

4. 担任销售和市场部门的主要技术来源；

5. 为市场部提供应用上的意见和反馈，特别是有关DS产品的***手信息，以确保产品市场定位准确，并且为客户提供最合适的产品以满足客户的需求和期望；

6. 通过电话或现场拜访客户的方式，快速、专业地满足客户技术上的需求；

7. 负责客户培训，内容包括仪器、试剂和耗材等方面；

8. 负责展示会并凸显DS产品在技术上的优势；

9. 找出任何可能对系统产生不良影响的地方，如错误的试剂、程序或者硬件问题

10. 协助客户快速有效地使用仪器和试剂系统，以使顾客满意度和DS的销售额***化

11. 负责任何有必要的针对销售、市场、辅助部门员工的内部培训

12. 帮助和协作当地的产品实验

13. 与地区销售和我们的客户密切沟通，识别新产品的市场潜力，开拓新的商业机会
