Goals : You will be responsible for establishing capable components suppliers to support the Interconnect business. In addition, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes and capabilities for Interconnect products (cable assemblies and optical connectors) in order to meet cost, quality and service targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Manufacturing project lead for NPI/NBO programs (Participates in New Business Opportunities and performs Mfg project gate keeping to decide which projects will be worked on.).
? Develops Investment, Product Mfg Cost, Capacity, Supply Chain Models to aid in feasibility studies and work.
? Responsible for fixed asset planning, monitoring and tracking.
? Develops a viable, cost effective manufacturing and supply chain plan to meet business goals and objectives.
? Works with Country, Area and Division across different functions to obtain support for implementing the viable, cost effective manufacturing and supply chain plan.
? Develops and establishes the appropriate manufacturing processes to produce product which meets customer's and 3M's business goals, commitments and obligations.
? Ensures that the product meets quality expectations of the customer.
? Is responsible for providing products and data packages to be used with customers for qualification purposes.
? Raises manufacturing capability to a level that is stable in terms of quality and supply in preparation to hand over to the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE).
? Provide competitive cost in the market by cost reduction activities (productivity improvements, yield improvements, introduce cost competitive materials, process innovation, etc).
? Supports SQE in sustaining stable quality, improved cost and continuous service in product supply lines.

Position Requirements:
? Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production Preferable).
? Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of total working experience. Specific experience with Interconnect products will be a strong advantage.
? Optical components and/or optical cable assembly experience.
? Precision connector molding, stamping, assembly and optical performance testing experience.
? Project management skills.
? Understanding of customer application.
? Possess understanding in the areas of Finance, Materials Management, Logistics, Quality, Statistical Process Control.
? High degree of computer literacy (spreadsheets, work processing, electronic mail, etc).
? Well organized, Independent with strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
? Must be comfortable in communication across functions, organizational levels, cultures and countries.
? Possess the ability to self-manage projects as well as directing others.
