Job Description & Summary

A career within Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for complex financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational events. You’ll tackle client’s needs with a solution oriented approach that creatively addresses complex financial reporting problems for high profile transactions and you’ll have significant interaction with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers and other advisers.

CMS works with engagement teams to execute all capital market engagements, including pre-listing advisory projects, IPOs and post-listing transactions. It also manages and participates in various capital market related selling, marketing and image building activities.

The candidate will involve in a wide range of capital market transactions in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He/She will work with engagement teams to execute capital market transactionsand provide advice on capital market matters. The role of a CMS manager involves:

• Works with engagement teams to execute capital market transactions;

• Provides advice on rules, regulations and professional standards relating to capital market transactions;

• Acts as the engagement manager for IPOs, where necessary;

• Liaises with regulators, sponsors and other professional parties;

• Supports various IPO selling and marketing initiatives;

• Develops guidance, templates and risk management policies relating to capital market engagements;

• Formulates submissions to Government and regulators on matters relating to capital markets;

• Develops and delivers training on capital market topics;

• The successful candidate will be assigned with different CMS roles that best fit his/her capability.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in any discipline
• Professionally qualified
• Possesses up-to-date technical knowledge on HKFRS/IFRS and/or CAS
• IPO or capital market transaction experience is required, in particular on Hong Kong and Mainland A-share capital market
• Able to work effectively with PwC engagement teams, external professional parties and regulators
• Effective project management skill
• Excellent interpersonal skill
• Strong analytical skill
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is a must; Cantonese is preferred)
• Business Travel when needed

• 5 years and above
