We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant who will report to the Tax and Treasury Director as part of our dynamic team in China.

Your opportunity

The main role of this position will be able to perform all tax compliance and consulting service to brands, including wholesale and retail business. He/ she is customer-oriented and autonomous, solves issues proactively and continuously seeks for improvements.

How you will contribute

• Work with Finance Shared Service Centers and brand finance to obtain appropriate data for tax returns including reconcile indirect tax accounts, prepare supporting documents and complete filing. The tax category includes but not limited to VAT, Consumption Tax, Surcharge, WHT, Stamp Duty, etc.
• Manage all the tax agencies in non-SH cities and make sure the agencies handle tax related work timely and correctly
• Prepare corporate income tax filing and Review Transfer Price Documentation
• In-charge of Direct Operation Store/branch opening and closing
• Provide tax suggestion with reliable and convincing evidence upon tax researches and analysis to internal stakeholder, as FSSC, brand finance, legal and business team
• Collaborate with SSC and brand finance to harmonize the tax process and procedure
• Ensure timely application for the applicable tax incentives and finance subsidy
• Deal with internal audit about tax part and external tax audit by authority
• Communicate with in-charge tax officials and other government officials to keep healthy relationship
• Provide tax training to required department or upon projects

Who you are

         Experience, business and technical skills

• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Tax, Accounting, Finance;
• Above 3 years of experience in a similar position in multinational company or big four firms
• Familiar with tax filing related systems and Experience of using Concur, U8 or SAP System would be appreciate
• Recognized professional qualification in accountancy
• General knowledge of processes of Accounting and Tax Function
• Good knowledge of Chinese accounting rules
• Good Computer (Microsoft) skills
• Good English skills in written and oral
