Job Description

As Finance Analyst for the Application Center in Asia, you will be handle order from CC and pass on to PM team. Ensure project cost is correctly booked and revenue is timely and correctly recognized according to contract terms with proper supporting documents.

Review projects periodically together with project managers, identify project risk, and make sure project delivery on time. Working and supporting the project teams with forecasting of project costs and analyze monthly project actual financial result vs. forecast and budget. Collected important information to report Management for further performances measurement and deviation correction.

Mission

Well-communicated channel for Sales, Proposal team and PM team to make project work efficiency and smoothly. Using developed financial knowledge to assist and consult Project team to solve financial issues and keep running projects within budget.

Responsibilities:

Database maintenance

- Record order and all relevant project information according to RFQ and Kickoff meeting minutes

-Update project progress according to weekly project meeting and distributed project list to all departments

-Adjustment cost reminder and record in data

-Update actual cost inputted in system

Project support

-Order Received coordination: Handle order from CC and pass on to PM team. Ensure project cost is correctly booked and revenue is timely and correctly recognized according to contract terms with proper supporting documents.

-Make quotation based on latest version of project pre-calc. and submit to approve
-Review kickoff meeting minutes and upload to data

-Check calculation of pre-cal. (ex. Rate, freight %, etc) and classified cost in data

-Adjust quotation if any changes after kick-off

-Prepare project delivery and invoice plan for every month and work with PMs to reach the NIS target.

- Payment issue tracking before delivery

- Review projects periodically together with project managers, identify project risk, and make sure project delivery on time.

- Working and supporting the project team with forecasting of project costs and analyze monthly project actual financial result vs. forecast and budget.

- Collected important information to report Management for further performances measurement and deviation correction.

Finance

Payment, Credits and Fixed asset

-Check supplier invoices and submit supplier payment requests for BC approval

- Prepare and handover Payment Voucher and invoices to Infosys to arrange weekly payment

- Credit control and dealing with Bank Acceptance Draft, working with PCP to transfer BAD to suppliers as much as possible to minimize cash payment and risks

- Fixed asset check and list maintenance to ensure physical items marching with the records.

Invoicing and Reporting

- Sales order set up and Order invoice in system

- Prepare APC report weekly for invoice status forecast

- OR/OI monthly figure checking and delivery performance measurement

- Support monthly reporting package for management review

- Assist on annual budget process and regular forecast

- VC scorecards measurement

This position reports to Business Controller ACA

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant working experience under MNC manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of the Financial Analysis & forecasting processes is necessary, Knowledge of PRC/USGAAP is essential

Good analytical skills with strong skills in MS-Excel. Familiar with ERP system. SAP experience is plus.

Education requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting and Good understanding of Accounting

Chinese (Mandarin) and spoken and written English

Knowledge

Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles

Understanding the “business” of the entity (products, market, customers, etc.)

Understanding the financial structure of the entity

Analytical problem solving skills

Ability to question the way we do things in order to find a better way.
