Responsibilities:

？ Translation and reviewing technical and multimedia texts into your native language

？ Understanding and implementing SDL’s linguistic processes and procedures

？ Planning and managing large translation projects, acting as Lead translator

？ Producing quality translations within given deadlines

？ Liaising with client reviewers on linguistic issues

？ Providing full linguistic support for project managers on projects

？ Manage the outsourcing and supplier usage

？ Cost and project margin control

Management responsibilities

？ Managing a team of 5-10 persons

？ Make sure team members an understanding of SDL corporate culture and goals, and acting as a role model for your staff to follow

？ Resolving project conflicts in the team. Keeping involved in projects being worked on by your team at all times, and ensuring that team members are using the correct methodology at all times.

？ Quality: monitoring the quality of work done by each team member.

？ Productivity & Utilization: monitoring the productivity & utilization of the team. Ensuring every member of the team is working efficiently.

？ Development of team members: identifying areas that need improving, and training the person to help them improve. Carry out regular appraisal interview to team members.

？ Training: provide training to all team members on project-specific translation requirements, the localization process, SDL procedures, tools, etc.

？ Recruitment: taking a proactive part in the recruitment process: reviewing tests, conducting interviews.

？ Induction of new staff within your team into SDL

？ Procedures & Discipline: ensuring the team members understand and follow SDL’s procedures. Take appropriate action to ensure compliance.

？ Motivation of team

Requirements:

？ Major in English is preferred, good oral English

？ Over 5 years translation or localization industry working experiences

？ Proof achievements on translation and review related

？ Over 2 year team management experience

？ Good communicator

？ Can work under pressure

？ Good at planning and result oriented
