Purpose or role

 

The Local Service Centre (LSC) – AP will support the accounting leader for daily Account Payable matters. The incumbent is accountable for local payment support for all business centres located in various provinces of China.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility 

·         Centrally collect vendor invoices

·         Sort out invoices, register, check feasibility, verify VAT, process payment application to GSC and file in a proper way

·         Ensure payment accuracy and on time

·         Supplier query resolution

·         Follow up payment with GSC

·         Handle overseas payment application (SAFE control), incl. document preparation, FX application, work with firm for VAT filing, payment submission

·         Ageing AP follow up

·         Analyse and respond to simple issues/questions received from granting agencies regarding payment requests.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education & Skills Required

·         Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Administration, or related fields

·         Over 1 years experience with a preference for someone who has had billing, tax compliance, internal control etc. related experience.

·         The ability to be a good team player with good communication skills to deal with field and regional sales/operation team. Possess strong written and presentation skills and must be able to effectively work in a cross-functional team environment.

·         Honest, disciplined, well organized.

·         Process driven, strict attention to detail and deadline oriented.

·         Basic English communication skill.

·         Good in using MS office tools, ERP applications.
