职位描述
JOB PURPOSE:
-Lead Medical Manager team to responsible for the medical and scientific activities of assigned product(s) or tasks with a focus on unmet medical need assessment, value proposition of Sanofi Rare Disease products, and the development and execution of medical strategy and plan to provide medical support to new and existing products in accordance with the Management's priorities and requirements, and in strict adherence to the Company's corporate policies, guidelines and requirements.
-Determine overall Medical Liaison strategy, time / resource allocation and supporting budget
-Collaborate with other functions to ensure ML strategy fully address scientific needs to business

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Strategy and Functional Planning
-Ensure MM to provide up to date disease and product knowledge to internal and external customers for assigned product(s).
-Lead MM team to support the development and execution of medical plans to optimise product value. Actively participate in cross-functional collaboration – including medical excellence, pharmacovigillance, regulatory, clinical operations, R&D, marketing, sales and government affairs – to support integrated plans across these functions
-Lead MM team to provide scientific input to post-marketing clinical programs (Phase IV, registries) for assigned product(s). Ensure data are scientifically valid and support the strategies, and are communicated effectively to relevant customers (reports, publications, presentation to congresses, or company sponsored events). Provide scientific support to the management of investigator sponsored studies in strict adherence to the Group’s policies and guidelines.
-Provide scientific input to other key medical activities for the assigned product(s) or tasks, including medical information service, epidemiology/health economics/outcome research, medical education, medical publication, pharmacovigillance etc. to support optimal execution of the medical plan.
-Closely work with regulatory and R&D to provide scientific input on unmet medical need assessment and product value proposition to ensure an optimal local registration strategy for new product and/or new indication.
-Develop and maintain permanent relations with a network of opinion leaders and experts for the assigned product(s) in order to maintain and reinforce the scientific position of the Group
-Provide medical and scientific support to the Company’s marketing and sales activities, including input in marketing strategy from medical point of view, round tables, symposia and medical education activities, liaison with opinion leaders, scientific communications, sales training, and medical input in promotional materials and validation of their scientific integrity and compliance to the Group’s procedures.
-Ensure appropriate scientific and medical compliance, governance and risk management within the framework of optimised patient centred risk/benefit in the responsible product(s) or tasks.
-Develop scientific communication materials (e.g. slides kit of hot topic, congress debrief, etc.) for medical liaisons usage following the review process in medical liaisons’ guideline.
-Develop the annual Medical Liaison strategic plan in alignment with business priorities
-Oversee translation of ML strategic plan into tactics at the regional and local levels
-Allocate ML resources across therapeutic area / brand priorities including time, budget and people
-Organize / support the organization of national KOL events
-Provide regular updates on Medical Liaison team performance to head office personnel
-Team Support and Management
Coach Medical Managers and Medical Liaison Managers to improve team performance Assess capabilities of team and identify critical gaps Conduct regular team performance reviews and feedback sessions

Education:
Master degree or above in medical science

3 years of clinical experience and 3+ years in field-based and team management positions in industry or

Experience managing, coaching, & developing large teams

Proven ability to manage large teams and coach individuals to success Ability to lead and inspire team to achieve performance targets Ability to set and track goals for the Medical Manager team and Medical Liaison team Strong coaching and mentorship skills across a variety of topics including brand and medical strategy, tactical planning, KOL engagement, and resource planning

Ability to set and generate impactful strategies that are fully aligned with business objectives for the year Understanding of the primary role of Medical Managers and Medical Liaisons and how they add strategic value to Sanofi’s business overall Ability to identify and set key targets for KOL engagement each year
-Clinical skills
Understanding of key TA trends & the unmet medical needs in disease area Insights on the major global clinical researches & scientific findings in disease area as well as implications
-Other Skills
