The Architects Team is hosted in the Power Products line of business. They will work in close collaboration with L.O.B strategic marketing in charge of applications, the products architects, Global technology and Electra team. The applications architect should master the customers processes and should have a complete knowledge of the Electrical Distribution of the applications.  The critical applications are covering all applications requiring energy availabilities and quality such as Datacenters, semiconductors, electro-intensive, automotive, and so on. He/she should be able to optimize traditional electrical architecture in respect to the process needs and building configuration. The applications architect will be close to our customers and in collaboration with the strategic marketing work with them to improve the electrical distribution architectures. He / She will cover all the regions and should be comfortable with China, North America and European Standards (CCC, NEMA, IEC) and installation constraints.

• Collaboration with the LOB Strategic Marketing
  • Define and formalize key issues and customers paints points to solve.
  • Optimization of the traditional electrical distribution architecture including communication [field bus] in respect to the process needs and building configuration.
  • Propose innovative electrical distribution schemes from MV to the process or the final distribution leveraging new smart/innovative offer.
  • Define a clear list of technical requirements, products mission profiles expected by application.
  • Prioritize the requirements, propose set of must have requirements for new offers, and list of nice to have requirements.
  • Contribute to the roadmap definition.
  • Propose competition benchmark by application for Architectures.

• Collaboration with the LOB Products architects
  • Make a detailed Assessment of the technologies used in the critical, buildings, Motor management applications.
  • Evaluate the consequences of the requirements on the products cost and TTM.
  • Define products platforms numbers per products type to reach cost effective products with the support of Industrialization resources.
  • Contribute to define complete description of platforms with the right balance between cost, functions, time to market, easiness to regionalize.
  • Products Competition analysis

• Collaboration with the Global Technology
  • Structure a digital approach aligning Ecostruxures requirements and Applications requirements.  Define with the GT Digital Architect a clear list of Digital requirements by products applications & usages.

The applications Architects will be active stakeholders in the Influence and Standardization Committee.

• Good verbal and formal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and if possible in a second international language
• Experience in System and Software support for connected for configurable and connected offers
