APEX is Honeywell’s latest integrated avionics system, optimized for entry-level to mid-market business turbine and regional airline operation, with unsurpassed integration capabilities and best class navigation & situational awareness capabilities. The current in-development programs include PC12, PC24, SeaStar, SJ30 and Viking.

To support continuous growth of APEX programs, China D&G (Displays & Graphics) team has an immediate need for System Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for performing system and software engineering activities associated with the Displays & Graphics system. This role will require technical capability of Avionics Display System and knowledge on related process. The candidate will be working with various engineering groups and need to have good communication skills and highly motivated.　

　　

Key Responsibilities:

* Apex Display System and Software Requirements design, documentation based on customer requirements;

* Resolve technical issues from application teams, product groups, and OEM's;

* Independently problem analysis and get a solution;

* Perform system informal test and integration test activities;

* Support D&G Apex Cert focal to complete Certification activities (PSAC/SAS, Open PARs justifications, SWCIA, Documents Publish, etc.) per DO-178B/C, and address comments from Product Integrity group

* Challenge the status quo and creatively identify opportunities for improvement

　　

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s Degree or above in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

* Minimum 2 years’ complex avionics system/software development or testing experience;

* Superior analytical and problem solving skills

* Excellent work attitude and team work spirit, be proactive in meeting program schedule, and product performance goals

* Good learning and coordination abilities. Good communication skills with fluency in written and oral English;

* Willingness to travel to global Honeywell sites per project needs (Up to 25% travel);

* Action oriented, results driven, high energy, self starter, influential on peers and customers and demonstrate critical thinking skills;

* Knowledge of DO-178B/C

* Familiarity with C/C++ and OpenGL programming

Additional Qualifications:

* Avionics product knowledge

* Knowledge of Aviation Operations or Human Factors

* Knowledge of ARP 4754

* Knowledge of Model Based Development process

* Ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals
