In this role, you have the opportunity to

 

Lead technology and architecture exploration with internal and external teams, define architecture design of component and system, and conform to architecture principles, organizing reviews of his/her design with colleagues, contribute to overall architecture and technology roadmap definition and drive roadmap implementation, in addition to those with the other Architect or the Senior Technology Specialist and coach junior colleagues.

 

You are responsible for

 

Lead use cases, technology and architecture discussion for exploration and definition

Responsible for the architecture and design a system, component or module through effective design and coding with good quality

Provide architecture, design & guidance of technical stack for the development team

Identifies and recommends technologies, methodologies and frameworks for projects

Work together with research / expert group for high-level platform architecture & framework definition, platform/application design specification, etc.

Guide and coach other development engineers from technical area in the project and across project such as design/code guidelines and design/code review

Shared responsibility for the competence development of the group/development

Assists the project manager in estimating project costs and efforts

Assists management in assessing technical competence of developers

Guiding the team is doing POCs/spike and early risk assessments

Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts

Spot and communicate relevant funded work and other business opportunities

Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post

 

You are a part of

 

Product development team and report to development team manager. Meanwhile, your peers look after areas such as product requirements, product development, verification & validations. You will also have close interaction with PMO office, solution team, presales team, and customer delivery team.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Strong development skills on one or more of followings with automated unit test skills

• One of more object oriented programming languages (Java, Python, Go preferred)

• Master of building one or more of followings

• Full stack engineering discipline and practices

• Popular frontend stack (Native Mobile and/or Web)

• Popular backend stack and architecture pattern, including web service, restful service, micro service, database and middlewares

• Deep understanding and experience of using Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), be able to clearly communicate design and architecture in popular OOAD approach

• Solid knowledge on software engineering, deep experience in popular software engineering practices, such as Scrum, CICD, DevOps

• Solid knowledge and proven experience on enterprise IT and Cloud, China Cloud preferred

• Solid knowledge and proven experience on IOT, internet protocols, Cloud, big data, micro services, High Scalability, high availability, security, Mobile Internet, Database (SQL and NoSQL) etc.

• Good communication skills, both Chinese and English, in both oral and written

• Be able to lead and improve team competencies by sharing, coaching/mentoring and innovation

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

• Efficient work under high pressure and pursue excellence;

• Passion and responsible for work

• Self-motivated in learning new technologies and implementing quality software components

• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

• Healthcare domain knowledge is advantage
