Key Responsibilities:
The position will mainly be responsible for Tapestry Asia SAP S/4 related projects and support work as a member of global SAP finance & retail team, including the system integration among SAP and external finance / retail systems like CAR, POS, Store back-office system, E-Com etc. In this role, the person will be required to understand the business processes & needs, seek improvement area and implement the appropriate technology solutions to achieve the group’s & IT’s goal for leading company success.
· Responsibilities include:
o Design and implement information technology solutions for Tapestry Asia's finance and retail business, for multiple brands and multiple regions;
o Participate SAP implementation projects and cooperate with other global SAP team members;
o Work with global business team for solutions of finance and retail system integrations among SAP and external systems like CAR, POS, Store back-office system, Store Supply System, E-Com System, etc.
o Provide consulting suggestions to finance and retail business partners on optimal IT solutions.
o Manage offshore AMS team for daily support work and provide support to the key issues.
o Manage medium to small-scale projects in alignment with corporate vision.
o Build strong partnership with finance, retail operations, allocation business partners and cross-functional IT partners.
o Provide strong support to the other Asia IT projects, which impacts SAP finance or retail solutions.
o Build strong partnership with key IT vendors. Cooperating with IT vendors for projects or daily support work.
o Collaborate with application development and technology infrastructure teams to deliver systems solutions.
Education/Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or above.
· A minimum of 5 years' SAP FICO, SD and retail experience including analysis of business requirements and designing system solutions for business processes.
· Experience as a key project team member for at least 1 complete SAP project.
· SAP knowledge and experience of retail solutions (S/4, FMS, IS-Retail, IS-AFS etc.) is preferred.
· A good understanding of finance and retail processes in global environment.
· Understanding SAP SD and MM integration with FI.
· Experience in building and supporting finance / retail related interfaces among SAP and external systems.
· Abilities to command Tapestry's finance and retail system solutions and on-going SAP related projects quickly, and have a clear understanding to the Tapestry's current business processes.
· Strong communication and facilitation skills in English as a working language is mandatory. Ability to communicate in Japanese is preferred.
· Experience in partnering with business users.
· Abilities to work with Tapestry IT team (North America and Asia region) and offshore team in remote locations.
· Strong inter-personal, organization skills.
· Adaptable and flexible person.
· Person who has a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
· Ability to work under the tight closing schedule.
· Should be proactive and work independently with minimum guidance
