职位描述

1、EssentialTechnical Criteria

? Provides complex technical support,planning and coordination for End User touch points of the distributed computerenvironment, including desktop, software and hardware installation, support anddistribution, and remote access technologies

? Performs analyzing, diagnosing,installation, and resolution of complex desktop computer, operating system,application software and hardware technologies and associated problems.

? Performs analyzing, diagnosing,installation, and resolution of remote access technologies and associatedproblems.

? Performs analyzing, diagnosing,coordination and planning of horizontal network cablemanagement processes including installation, moves, adds, changes and repairs.

? Provides complex technical input tothe Desktop Services team and assumes a supporting role in selecting andutilizing appropriate tools and techniques for timely service delivery.

? Works independently with little to nodirect supervision in analysis, design, and implementation of desktop solutionsto fulfill business unit requirements.

? Acts as a technical liaison with usergroups and other IT partners for systems support and implementation.  Provides an effective interface among users,vendors, IT partners, and consultants in evaluating technical issues andproducts.

? Responsible for partnering with thebusiness units they support to understand the business impact of supportissues.

? Responsible for the analysis, design,and implementation of desktop solutions to fulfill business unit requirements.

? Responsible for the analysis, designand implementation of desktop technology life cycle management processesincluding technology procurement, refresh and disposition.

? Responsible for project analysis,design, coordination and planning for all technical components of desktoprelated projects.

? Coordinates schedules and technicalwork order instructions to contracted labor for installations, moves, adds andchanges within the desktop computing environment

? Demonstrates creativity and initiativein problem solving.

2、ComplexTechnical Documentation/Administrative Tasks

? Technical documentation ofhardware/software additions or changes.

? Updates of inventory additions andchanges to the inventory database.

? Updates and closures of troubletickets and service requests.

? Timely labor hour input for billingand management.

3、Trainingrequirements

? Keeps up-to-date advanced technicalskills and knowledge of vendor offerings.

? All other duties as assigned.

4、RequiredQualifications

? 4+ years of progressive experience inthe desktop environment.

? Advanced knowledge and understandingof Windows desktop operating systems.

? Intermediate knowledge of the WindowsServer Operating System and the ability to perform domain relatedadministrative tasks.

? Ability to perform troubleshooting andanalysis of PC hardware, PC operating systems (Win95, WinNT, Win2000, WinXP, Windows2007) and office automation software, with expert level knowledge in at leastone area of specialization.

? Ability to perform troubleshooting andanalysis Microsoft Office Suite of software including versions 2007 and 2010.

? Intermediate knowledge andunderstanding of LAN environments

? Intermediate knowledge ofcommunication protocols.

? Intermediate knowledge ofPC-to-Mainframe access.

? Intermediate knowledge of LAN basedE-mail systems (e.g., Outlook, MS Exchange).

? Creativity and advanced problemsolving skills that lead to effective solutions to complex and varied problems.

? A demonstrated ability to encourageand model positive cross-team partnerships.

? Advanced ability to perform complextroubleshooting and analysis of PC hardware, PC operating systems and officeautomation software, with expert level knowledge in at least one area ofspecialization.

? Intermediate ability to performcomplex troubleshooting and analysis of network system devices and PC networkhardware and client software.

5、PreferredQualifications

? College degree in Business or ComputerScience

? Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
