• The position will play the role of an expert in Digital Technologies and will be the Single point of contact & conduit between Global IT Digital Team, Regional IT Team and the Asian Markets, particularly in China.
• Contribute to Digital and eCommerce Strategy for Alcon, in line with business needs in APAC region and Greater China market
• Develop a good understanding of Alcon’s enterprise Digital strategy
• Develop a good understanding of uniqueness of APAC Markets and Digital requirements related to business models, technology adoption and regulatory requirements
  
• Solid understanding of Commercial Business including Sales, Marketing capabilities, preferably in a device/ product company (Medical or otherwise).
• A good understanding of business practices and industry outlook in China and other Asian markets.
• Should understand the uniqueness of Asian and Chinese markets and the opportunities and limitations associated with Digital Technologies
• Balanced Strategic and Operational (Execution) capabilities.
• Expert in Digital Technologies – Should have experience around majority of the skills ( If not all), including technologies related to Digital Marketing, Websites & content & traffic management, Product Launches, B2B2B , B2C and eCommerce.
• Should be a practitioner of Agile methodology and should have worked in Agile teams
