Responsibilities:

Assist buying manager/director in relation of merchandising and buying analysis.

Responsible for inventory management, budget allocation, merchandise selection and category buying.

Analyze each seasons' performance and make recommendations to maximize future performance.

Assist the team in preparing regular reports for internal usage and principal's usage. i.e.: the report of sales performance, merchandise mix, inventory, etc.

Work closely with sales and marketing team on product mix and brand promotion activities.

Responsible for defective claims, stock transfer and other administrative duties.

Understand regional differences and able to influence various parties to get consensus in accordance with head office direction.

Understanding E commerce and online business model, able to maximize business opportunity by accurate buying decision for both retail shops and online channels.

Understanding visual merchandising, able to maximize sales by guiding sales team to execute brand appropriate visual merchandising methods.

Follow up orders and develop samples.

Conduct fashion trend and product knowledge training to frontline staff.

Continuously monitor market activity, including regular competitor shop visits, and gather market intelligence from a wide variety of sources taking appropriate commercial action.

Requirements:

Degree holder with minimum 5 years gained at Senior Buyer level within a fast fashion retail environment.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to quickly identify, understand and realize opportunities.

Independent, and able to work under pressure.

Strong business and fashion sense with excellent numeracy and analytical skills.

A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with various departments and team members.

Positive attitude at work: proactive, open-minded, concentrated, efficient, responsible and organized.

Good command of spoken and written in English, and Chinese. Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint

Working location at Beijing , be required to travel in Mainland China.
