Sourcing for and establishing business relationships with Chinese fashion apparel brand operators with a view to set up joint ventures, relationships and/or entities of various legal forms in Greater China regarding various brands and trademarks owned by the Company and its affiliate(s).



Searching, identifying, analyzing, performing due diligence and determining which Chinese brand operators are suitable and good to have the right to use, license, sublicense or own the above brands and trademarks for royalty payments, equity interests and/or other considerations.



Researching as much information available about a target company, reviewing the materials of the target company or its advisors, and building a financial model that assesses the performance of the business and the market/industry.



Building strong relationships with various partners (or operators), which had, have or will have potential in partnering with the Company.



Negotiating, structuring, agreeing upon and closing deals with various potential partners to form new joint ventures ("JVs") through liaising with the company owners, bankers, lawyers and various other people.



Analyzing business plans, writing business plans, making assumptions and helping a potential partner develop a sound strategy for launching a new brand.



Ensuring fairness in the deals, protecting the interest of the Company, especially when dealing with potential partners and during monetization events.



Monitoring partners and investments, attending quarterly board meetings, retrieving monthly reports, analyzing financials, sharing resources with partners and informing them of market news, assisting in the development of each brand.



Preparing for and participating in internal and external meetings with third parties, such as private equity peoples or venture capitalist parties, our potential partners, current partners, or previous partners.



Translating business plan and term sheet and agreement.



Requirements

5 years of working experience

Fluent in written Chinese and spoken Mandarin

Slight fashion sense preferred

Preferred candidates should have one of the following working experiences:

1) worked in retails-related associations or leading department stores or shopping malls in China, and equipped with basic knowledge in accounting and finance

2) worked in consulting /accounting/auditing firms, and has had Chinese fashion apparel company as a client

3) worked in finance/accounting/strategy department of a Chinese fashion brand
