Missions:
The responsibility of Insulating Material Engineer is to manage insulating solutions (insulating coating, painting, insulating semi-products ect.) for new projects and local source for exiting parts. The Insulating Material Engineer will work in China R&D Material Team.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide best insulating solutions for projects including define material/process technical specification, set part quality acceptance criteria, propose quality vs. cost effective materials/processes, and contribute to solve quality issues.
2. Identify and evaluate emerging insulating technologies that bring new opportunities to Schneider. Lead techno action to study the feasibility for SE applications.
3. Work with global expert to deliver new technologies research report, technical standards, design guidelines and related technical documents; provide technical training in company
4. Build insulating material/processing competency in China material team
5. Support procurement/SQE team to audit and qualify suppliers, improve suppliers’ capabilities and quality of process.
6. Work with GSC QA team improve product quality and inspection criteria, root cause analysis and facilitate the constant improvement process.

Requirements:
1. Education: Master, mainly with major in Chemical/Polymer materials or related. 3~5 years ‘working experience in electronic industry is preferred.
2. Rich knowledge of polymer, insulating materials and related processes
3. Excellent English skills in speaking, writing, listening and reading.
4. Familiar with MS Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
5. Ability to work with cross-function teams and supplier
6. Able to work independently and demonstrated inherent desire to learn and improve
