1. Brief Description

This position is responsible for leading a sales team covering a geographic scope of Central and North China. In addition to the geographic coverage this position is responsible for growing APLL's International Freight Services and Vendor Logistics.

2. Key Accountabilities/Duties

1) Develop a strong sales force capable of selling solutions to medium to large domestic and international BCO's

2) Manage/Coach sales team to ensure the development of a solid pipeline, and the proper research, planning, engagement and follow up is being done.

3) Monitor KPI and reports for assigned sales, initiate and implement process improvements for sales performance, and conduct time and resource management through regular productivity analyses.

4) Pursue and support network sales leads and opportunities with existing customers.

5) Leverage APLL's extensive presence in China and experience to provide Supply Chain solutions for each customer.

6) Grow our business in International Freight Services, and Vendor Logistics

7) Create and maintain database on APLL's competition

8) Establish the close rapport with local steamship lines per corporate carrier strategy

3. Requirements

1) Bachelor Degree in International Shipping

2) 8 years of experience in the Logistics field (i.e. marketing, operations, documentation, capacity management, space and equipment allocation covering all trade lanes, etc.)

3) Leadership, strong communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin, problem solving ability, and creativity.

4) Well organized, ability to manage time, good influencing capabilities, strong business sense

5) Strong knowledge of Chinese Customs, ability to use excel and PowerPoint
