Main Purpose and Job Scope

This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing company projects to lead the new product commercialization to market and assuring the success launch.

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Work actively as the core team member of new products commercialization.

Be responsible for the project key deliverables by managing the project in right scope, with high quality and on-time launch.

Establish project management governance structure for key projects to monitor project progress, including NPD process cross-functionally and supply chain planning/execution excellence.

Liaise with Logistics, Planning, Procurement team to drive for best end-to-end solution.

Define project timeline and key critical milestones. Drive alignment on project directions.

Establish project work streams and assign project task. Set clear roles and responsibilities to project team members.

Execute project plan and monitor the progress with transparent tracking among whole commercialization process.

Contribute to development of NPD plans by effective cross-functional working through stage-gate process.

Identify, assess, monitor and communicate project risk. Provide effective solution to resolve issues ensuring no impact to project time table.

Provide regular updates on project status and progress. Effectively manage the communication on project information and issue among project team and to management team.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to drive for closure on issues that prevent the project moving forward. Focus on solution.

Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Fluent in Mandarin

Logical thinking and demonstrated competencies on handling multiple tasks
