Job Purpose

Provide technical support in order to drive sales growth within the assigned APC (Advanced Process Control) geography and vertical industries.

Key Responsibilities

• DO

• Work proactively with the customer to make Advance Process Control (APC) recommendations. Examples would include technical suitability, cost/ performance evaluation, technical trends, migration considerations, proof of concept, configuration testing, and customer application assistance.
• Provide training to both internal and external customers.
• Deliver post-sales support and embedded engineering activities (if applicable).
• Develop engineering standards, methods, and guidelines in APC (MPC) discipline
• Lead the exchange of best practices within industry accounts.
• Promote the industry-focused applications into key accounts.
• Develop and maintain solutions/demos.
• Design and work on advanced process control (APC) solution in specific industries.
• Contribute to the development of marketing collaterals such as brochures, white papers and application notes in specific industries

• High level of expertise in Industry/Application Knowledge in required Advanced Process Control or Model Prediction Control discipline. 

• Intermediate level of expertise in Training.

• Intermediate expertise in Prospecting & New Customer Development, with a basic level of expertise in Market Research & Analysis (Market & Economic Trends, Customer Buying Behavior, Competitor Research), Project / Implementation Management and Sales Fundamentals

• Intermediate expertise in process applications solutions  (Oil&Gas, Chemical, Cement,  Food&Beverage applications will be beneficial)

• Intermediate expertise or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Neural Network-related territory should be plus.

   

  
  

  
  

  EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE  

  
  

   

   

• Bachelors or equivalent degree in chemical/automation engineering or other engineering with heavy modeling, statistics or process control focus

• Experience in automation, Advanced Process Control and Model-Predictive Control applications.

• 5+ years APC/Automation application experience in assigned industry ( AI experience would be plus)

• Good English for communication with Global team

• >50% Travel
