POSITION SUMMARY:

Schneider Electric Global Marketing team is seeking a creative, organized, and experienced individual to fill the position of Copy Writer.

Responsibilities include development of marketing communication projects from concept through final implementation: industry research, analysis, idea development, concepting, headline and body copy development and ads performance evaluation. The copy writer will uphold the Chinese copywriting quality and brand identity in the development of advertising, point of purchase and retail communications, experiential displays, publications, direct marketing, sales tools, online communications and corporate identity.

Besides Chinese copy creation, the successful candidate must be able to assist in localizing & trans-creating copy originated in English, support proven reading & polishing for various marketing deliverables per requirement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· College diploma or above, majoring in Chinese, News, Public Communication or Advertising

· 3-5 years of experience as advertising copywriter, ideally with 4A Agency background, but at the very least having experience of servicing multinational clients in a full-service agency firm or in-house copy writer from Electric-related company.

· Good at oral & reading English for communication with global peers while decent understanding to English asset copy.

· Good at marketing and advertising with strategic competence

· Time management skills sufficient to meet deadlines, delivering acceptable results within allocated leading time.

· High energy and high creativity for application to creative concept development and presentation.

· Proven ability to keep learning, plus strong sense of responsibility, good at communicating and working in a team.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
- This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with the creative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Knowledge of common marketing principles, procedures and concepts;
- A self-starter that must be able to self-manage projects;

- The candidate must have experience with the following: PC and MAC systems, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Acrobat.
