JOB PURPOSE

This position is to support IA China Director to manage different types of IA china projects to ensure the successful completion within timeline and budget for the operations excellence of IA China.

This includes
? Coordinate with IA china site relevant department to collect and analyze data and information of projects
? To follow-up project involving multiple industrial plants ( Beijing, Hangzhou pharma, Hangzhou CHC and Tangshan)
? Give constructive proposal to IA china Director for any issues happened

1 - Roles and responsibilities

? Under IA China Head's guidance, manage the variance kinds of projects for IA China, to ensure completion within timeline and budget
? Coordinate to build project team, and always keep good communication with team members
? Responsible for project follow-up, action plan proposal to avoid any deviation
? Closely track the progress of all projects and alarm any risk to IA china director and propose sound solutions
? Update IA China Director or other Senior management of project status
? Support IA China Director to drive the standardization and harmonization cross the plants within IA China
? Identify and propose opportunities for standardization and harmonization, through the good communication with sites
? Setting up platform for best practice sharing among plants, facilitate sharing meetings, etc.
? Coordinate with relevant department head of each site to monitor Lean and other continuous improvement programme
? Consolidate and study internal data/information for reporting and sharing among sites
? Support programmes and provide recommendations to improve general management to all China Businesses
? Monitor and analyze China industrial information to help for better understanding of any change of regulatory or market trend.
? Build relationships with relevant Commercial and China affiliate personnel and support cross activity communication
? Any other relevant responsibilities at China IA Director's request
? Provide relevant information or regulatory on project management
? Could keep possibility to move to 1 of IA China site in future

2 - Requirements and competencies

Education
? Bachelor degree or above of Pharmaceutical or Chemical engineering. PMP or MBA preferred.

Experience
? Five years working experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferrable in production or quality
? Experience on project management, having led at least one project from beginning to end with good result
? Other continuous improvement experience at production workshop, eg. Lean, 6Sigma, etc.

Specific Knowledge & Qualifications
? Fluent in both Chinese and English (Optional French language)
? Be able to lead projects independently with the strong mindset of time and budget control
? Strong communication skills and inter-personal skills
? Good analytical skills and problem solving skills
? Be able to travel frequently



3 - Scope

Industrial plants China : 4 plants
? Pharmaceuticals plants: Hangzhou/Beijing plant
? CHC plants : Hangzhou/Tangshan
? Involvement in FIAC and potential transverse project with Shenzhen and Nanchang sites (if any)


Location of the position : Shanghai office
Direct acting activities: Tangshan / Beijing/ Hangzhou


4 - Hierarchical link

Direct reports to IA china director

1. Overall responsible for the project of current plant new plant relocation. 2. Responsible for day-to-day Quality, Cost and HSE issues. 3. Involved in the selection of contractor and supplier and the drafting of the contracts. 4. Analyse and/or propose modifications (if necessary and subject to approval) to improve the project's quality and performances. 5. Track the project's financial budget, and propose or/and inform any modification in the budget. 6. Coordinate the authorities, headquarter project team (IA, AP and Paris partners, subcontractors, and internal different Departments.
