Summary: Briefly state the primary purpose of the job.

To manage distribution quality including distributors and consumers complaints. This job will ensure the compliance of global distribution quality policy and drive the continuous improvement of quality performance.

Major Duties/Responsibilities: Identify the major duties/responsibilities of the job. List the percentage of the incumbent's time that will be spent on each major duty/responsibility. Time % Summary of major duties: 1. 40% Distributor management: 1) Set up, maintain, verify and continuously improve distributors systems based on global requirement; 2) Ensure the new distributors are well risk assessed before usage; 3) Manage annual audit process in collaboration with external 3rd auditing party and internal cross functional teams; 4) Drive business decision and improvement on distributors that not meet Hershey’s standard; 5) Manage traceability system outside of factory and provide traceability information when needed for incidents handling; 6) Lead annual retail audit and quality audit project 2. 40% Consumers and customers complaints: 1) Set up, maintain, verify and continuously improve consumers and customers complaints process; 2) Handle daily complaints operations with sales and GSS teams; 3) Work as bridge between region and factory for complaints investigation; 4) Complaints data analysis and reports 5) Continuously improve Non-manufacturing complaints reduction (Esp: Infestation) 3 20% Product verification and Co-man monitoring: 1) Coordinate product quality verification implementation and report; 2) Support Co-man on site monitoring work

· Knowledgable about various quality, food safety and regulatory issues

· Knowledgable about various manufacturing operation and manufacturing environment.

· Hires outside of the must be fluent in English as need. Cultural business knowledge / acumen required

· Appropriate regional standards are being met regarding what products are stored and produced in warehouse & Co-packing site.

· Min 25% travel in China expected.

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Good communication skills in verbal and written form. Advanced presentation skills.

· Ability to effectively interact with different levels of employees

· Ability to represent Hershey and establish relationships with outside agencies (regulatory, Co-packing sites, distributors, third party audits etc.)

· Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills

· Advanced proficiency in computer programs / software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, SAP (Recipe Management), Net Weight and QA Trends.

· Detailed knowledge of quality and food safety system requirements and local regulatory – PEP, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Process (GMP), Good Lab Practice (GLP) etc.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Be specific with regard to years of experience, special training, applicable degree (or critical college level courses), as well as equivalency to education and experience.

Education: BS or MS in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field

Experience: BS Min 4 yrs. exp. in food industry;
