The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the process of sourcing, qualifying, negotiating with logistics service providers (warehouse, custom broker, trucker,co-loader and handling/booking agency and etc)

managing the quality of logistic service providers to meet with CEVA standard

Defining opportunities and implementing initiatives to improve the flow of goods (cost saving, transit time, visibility and service quality)

This individual will partner with various CEVA BD, Product, Operation, and Finance teams, as well as external Vendors, to support critical new business initiatives and drive continuous improvement in cost and service aspect

Understand and follow market trend, work closely with OU, product team, and logistic services providers to achieve cost saving that are in alignment with the company’s objectives

Handle ad-hoc purchases or projects as assigned

Support Global based project on sourcing/procurement perspective in Central China to insure projects go smoothly

1. Involve more Global RFQ from both solution and cost level to support BL&OU to gain more new business therefore fill the gap

2. Opetimaze our current cost to make more saving on ebita level cross functions: Air, Ocean, R&R, Project logistics

3. More creative ideas need to implement. For example: trucking platform to operimaze the operation/cost

4. Assist Product team to build up new product network such as: domestic barge net work/domestic rail net work/DG network

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in: Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, International Trading, Logistics, Computer Science, or similar field

1. Maintain high standards of ethics, integrity and compliance with corporate procedures
2. Experience analyzing data and communicating with precise but clear story-line document writing.
3. Proficiency in MS office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
4. Be able to work under pressure and aggressive timelines
5. Committed to continuous learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge to keep up with business and organizational development.
