The person will manage the launches and animation of Skincare + Fragrance categories and well as new store openings for one of our premium brands.

The Job scope:

The Visual Merchandising role is responsible for creating and protecting the luxury image of L'Oreal LD portfolio of brands.

- The role works alongside Brand marketing team to develop concepts and designs, coordinate in-store execution of display updates, animation changeovers and fixture/store maintenance. 

- This includes but is not limited to display and fixture design, updating and communicating guidelines, overseeing store/brand changeovers, set up of new stores, coordinating with brands on tester orders, manage supply chain and vendors teams.

- Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers and key visual merchandisers at the retailer level to assist in executing brand image in store.

Key Responsibilities:

- End to end management of the design, development and execution of permanent merchandising units of Boutique stores.

- Execute and oversee development of visual merchandising guidelines to ensure flawless execution

- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape; staying close to the marketplace, and following brand evolution

- Frequent field visits; ensuring flawless execution of merchandising unit function

Requirements:

- 3 years’ experience minimum in visual merchandising, preferably with deep understanding of boutique design.

- Experience in luxury cosmetics is a plus

- Strong creative skills, with flexible mindset. Ability to take direction, propose, present and convince – while remaining open to other points of views with both internal and external groups

- Strong communication and collaborative skills. Foster good interactive with cross functional partners: Global teams, China Marketing and retailers partners

- Strong technical and construction skills

- Exception organizational skills – manage multiple projects in a timely manner and ability to juggle priorities

- Good budget understanding and management skills

- Keen awareness of current trends in visual arts and design, fashion and beauty
