In this role, you have the opportunity to

 

Develop strong technical skills to be responsible for the product testing and validation within the home care product development process.

 

You are responsible for

 

• Develop V&V test plans, test specification, test record and test reports under guidance of internal quality manuals (Quality System Procedures).

• Review requirements and scrutinize for testability.

• Quickly learn to use new test tools and specialty test equipment;

• Execute test procedures both personally and using test technicians.

• Log defects and issues found during V&V activities and track to closure.

• Provide weekly project status reports.

• Prioritize project tasks to complete on schedule while maintaining quality of work.

• Work in a team environment; peer review work.

• Work on multiple, concurrent projects.

• Identify/generate validation test protocols.

• Verify and validate home care product system & subsystem performance.

• Work alongside Development Engineers to evaluate the test results to determine severity of problems uncovered and to determine the root cause and corrective action necessary.

• Supporting market claim & demo testing.

• Participate in development of the products.

• Verification testing of the product both in house and ODM/OEM.

• Verify supplier lab capacity, help them to build up lab system to meet Philips quality requirements.

• Create and maintain laboratory instructions follow ISO 17025 standards.

You are a part of

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the T&V Manager and Development Lead, with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline; electrical Engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent background

• 5+ years’ working experience in testing, household appliance industry preferred

• Air purifier testing experience is a plus

• Knowledge of test methods, assessments

• Knowledge of product development process

• Ability to work within a cross functional organization with good communication skills

• Structured problem analysis and solving

• Good reading and writing with English is a must

• Interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and Chinese
