职位描述
Job Purpose
Responsible for leading the Metal Industry including Drive System Solution commercial and marketing effort for Rockwell Automation China order opportunities, with heavy emphasis on senior customer buying influence.
Consistent interaction with sales team and commercial support team is required to drive account strategy development and execution. The Solutions Consultant is expected to be an accelerant in moving opportunities to closure.
Is knowledgeable of Metal (Iron & Steel) industry process. Apply knowledge of products, pricing plans, competition, marketing objectives, sales objectives and sales skills to sell SSB Heavy Industry solutions especially Metal.
Automation control products, including PLC, Drive, Motion, Industry Components and MCC. With Heavy Industry solutions knowledge, including SCADA, LV Power Distribution, Logistic and Intelligent application.
Key Responsibility
DO
? Figure out detail level business development schedule under SSB strategy.
? Development pre-sales tools from heavy industry application perspective
? Training Pre-Sales & Sales to know how to sale heavy industry solutions to customer.
? Coach proposal engineer, implement proposal development activities.
? Training & influence sales team in the process of filtering project opportunities, with achieve target win rate.
? Exchange best practices & lessen learn to pre-sales functions.
? Lead the effort to analyze assigned accounts and develop an account penetration strategy and execution tactics to increase customer share.
? Drive customer business commitment through goal shared objectives and broad adoption of RA products and services seek no equal specifications and mutually valuable, multi-year corporate agreements.
? Work with sales and commercial support team to assure account coverage and assist sales resources to drive customer share.
? Update assigned accounts on new application and technology as related to customer needs.
? Develop account relationships at a senior level, engaging RA senior management.
? Diagnose, document, and solve customer problems with Rockwell Automation solutions. Where possible extract and validate actual solution value delivered, and pave the way for value propositions.
? Leverage and guide SSB resources to provide appropriate commercial and technical expertise to the customer.
? Coordinate with channels on account strategy as necessary.
? Coordinate GSM and/or other product business unit resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, warranties and product modifications.
? Provide technical or commercial support to the team at region level.
? Analyze trends and strategies of competitors. Report conclusions to the business manager.

? Understand Metal Heavy Industry marketing by prospective.
? RA relationship with key accounts

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
(Education, qualifications and experience requirements an employee must have)
? Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
? Minimum of 10 years Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and/or Project Management experience in the Industrial Automation / Process industry
