Position Title : HR Services Associate
Reports To : HR Services Supervisor, China

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for day to day payroll activities of region assigned , to ensure accurate & timely pay delivery to employees. The incumbent will also take care of some benefit administrative jobs that fall into GBSS HR Services work scope.


Local payroll position summary:
The incumbent needs to perform local payroll related activities & HR operations support as agreed for the region assigned. This includes entering of new hire/termination information into China payroll system (Platinum), variable & recurrence payment/deduction input, local payroll remittance/pay notification and other submission work related to local government bureau i.e. social insurance, housing fund, tax declaration & annual audit.

The incumbent is required to be familiar of China Payroll regulations. In depth knowledge to our payroll system (Platinum) is preferred.

Benefit admin position summary:
The incumbent is also responsible for some benefit administrative jobs, such as commercial insurance monthly administration, service award administration and leave administration.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


Local payroll role:
1. Perform local payroll related activities for region assigned, including entering of new hire/termination, monthly variable/recurrence payment & deductions input in payroll system (Platinum)
2. Arrange local bank remittance for employees monthly net pay based on the approved payment requisition
3. Answer any local payroll-related inquiries
4. Generate & distribute pay slip to employees
5. Responsible for work associated with local government/bureau, i.e. social insurance/housing fund/tax declaration/annual audit and submission of related documents for new hire/terminated employees to the government
6. Keep close watch on the updates of relevant local payroll laws/regulations and inform HR Services Supervisor in time
7. Responsible for leave administration for region assigned
8. To support any other HR Ops related work as agreed and approved between HR & GBSS HR

Benefit admin role:
1. Responsible for preparing the monthly commercial insurance list based on employees new hire, termination or changes, and submit to insurance company
2. Help with the local submission of employees' insurance claim to insurance company
3. Answer employees' inquiry about insurance benefit and coordinate with insurance company when there is any claim issue/dispute
4. Responsible for checking the annual awardee list for Service Award Program and submit to global gift vendor
5. As local coordinator to receive the service award gifts from vendor and distribute to employees

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Preferably a College or Diploma holder with 2 years of relevant working experiences in multinational companies
2. Job Incumbent must be bilingual in English & Mandarin
3. Job incumbent must be meticulous, possess good communication, interpersonal & PC skills
4. Job Incumbent must be a pro-active team player & demonstrate focus on continuous learning & improvement
