Job Summary

The Manager Advisor is responsible for delivering HR solutions to a portfolio of clients. Ensure clients are satisfied and manage the account relationship. The Manager Advisor through proactive account management, HR and business consultation and handling of escalation events, will ensure high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

·        Function as Manager Advisor for delegated group of managers, throughout year-round initiatives (Development Planning, PMPs, Talent Review, Employee Engagement, performance management, compensation planning, etc.)

·        Partner with HRBPs and provide HR counsel to managers ; responsible for support of HR strategies and programs

·        Partner with talent acquisition and hiring managers for the assigned groups in hiring process

·        Gather, analyze, and interpret HR related data for reporting and decision making

·        Create positive change through coaching, counseling, and influencing skills

·        Maintain a strong pulse on employee climate due to issues or trends; counsel managers on identifying and implementing corrective actions, while seeing opportunities for improvement

·        Partner with HRBPs, legal on matters of termination on demand, employee relations, investigations, complaints, or other concerns, adhering to procedures

·        Work with people managers and HRBPs to help develop and implement engagement and retention plans;

·        Provide support in client groups of Employee Engagement, Workforce Analytics, and other HR Initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree required in management, psychology, HR, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

·        Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist supporting managers, leaders, and employees at multiple levels

·        Strong business acumen and advising/coaching skills, high learning agility, and teamwork focus

·        Broad HR skills, including: compensation, employee relations, recruiting, labor laws

·        Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in a professional, positive manner

·        Self-motivation, detail-oriented, organized, and with a strong sense of urgency

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently

·        Strong project management skills; preferred experience with PeopleSoft and Microsoft software
