职位表述和要求：POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

To have overall responsibility to schedule delivery of products (Packaged Gases, MRI) to ensure an effective, efficient, safe, customer focused scheduling service that optimizes supply chain costs and performance levels.

Nature and Scope

The position is the lead in the daily activities of PG scheduling and providing as a main resource for Routemaster and SAP Delivery function. He or She will analyze the current performance of Scheduling and find an opportunity for future improvement in both system tools and or work process and bring up the idea to the functional expert.

Developed daily delivery scheduling to ensure safety standards or regulations, optimization of Supply Chain and highest level of customer service can be achieved. One requirement must not be achieved at the detriment of the other.

Individuals must continually monitor the equipment, drivers and product to be delivery from specific field locations. He/she will provide daily monitoring of IT systems to assess best delivery schedules for users. Access the messaging system for priority calls from the Center, truck drivers and field location trucking supervisors. Implement of changes and rearrangements necessary to complete the daily deliveries in the most efficient manner while satisfying the customers. Key interfaces will be with drivers, dispatchers, terminal managers, Customer Service Specialists, and customers.

Individuals must be flexible to work “non-traditional” hours/schedule. Twenty four hours a day/365 days a year schedule must be maintained. Working in shift and shift rotation will be applied. Voluntarily or willingness to come in on days off (training meetings, etc.) will be required in certain situation. On duty assignment will be rotated among the schedulers in order to cover emergency or out of office hour requirement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

·Provide daily scheduling solutions for all Packaged Gas and MRI Distribution activities in PGG China.

·Fully utilize the planning and scheduling functionality provided by Routemaster and SAP to

optimize scheduling solutions.

·Responsible to meet or exceed Physical Distribution KPIs from the scheduling related activities (i.e.: Delivery Failure Rates, Vehicle Utilization, etc).

·Understand and meeting the highest level of safety awareness ensuring that scheduling solutions allow all Legislative and Corporate Physical Distribution requirements to be met.

·Participate in the company Emergency Response Procedures ensure effective and timely actions are initiated as required.

·Work in conjunction with Field Locations to execute Strategic and Tactical Product Production and Fleet Utilization Plans that allow for optimization of both our production and distribution resources.

·Ensure the highest level of Customer Service is achieved and maintained. All customer demand requirements obtained via system forecasts, received sales orders, telemetry inputs etc. must be effectively captured, scheduled and delivered ensuring continuity of customer supply at all times. Prioritize Redline and Safety sensitive customers as appropriate.

·Participate and implement continuous improvement programs which encompass not only the Scheduling Team but also other CSO Departments, Commercial Management and Business Operational Teams.

·Continuously promote a “One Team” philosophy and work ethic into the achievement of optimized performance across all the Supply Chain.

·Develop and maintain effective communication processes between the Scheduling function and the Field Locations. This to include both daily operational activities and longer term planning and improvement strategies.

·Shift Handover Process

-Schedulers communicating past and current issues to each other.

-Listing of events and issues is to be passed on next shift scheduler and also for supervisor.

-Scheduler must use Standardized handover process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (including knowledge and skills):

·Logistics experience preferred

·Good written and oral English ability is preferred.

·Detail oriented, willing to work unconventional shifts, supportive of teamwork approach

·Computer literate, adept with Windows; sound reasoning and decision-making skills     

·Must have more than 2 years work experience in logistics or distribution related activities.

·Ideally would have experience of customer service and physical distribution management.

·Must be a self motivator and a good team player.

·Must be an excellent communicator who is comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts at all levels.
