Job Responsibilities
- Onsite Service in Shanghai/Beijing Public Hospital
- Verify patient’s ID and benefit;
- Collect Co-Insurance and Deductible from the member;
- Copy the medical record if necessary;
- In charge of the claims management of Beijing Key public hospital;
- Network Management and Negotiation
- Maintain the stable relationship with the key public hospital
- Provide direct billing service training for key public hospital
- Communicate with network providers for billing issue, admin issue and solve customer complaints
- Collect and check the claims in public hospitals every month
- Update and maintain network provider information and share documents in network team every month, including but not limited to bi-monthly newsletter, monthly revamping direct billing provider list(internal and external), notice to Global network team and China team.
- Data mining for network providers
Support Other Operational Areas including Service, Clinical, Sales, Client Management
- Accompany clients who will visit doctors in key public hospitals or hospital tour if necessary.
- Provide consultations of hospital recommendations;
- Participate in out of network provider discount negotiations for specific cases;
- Assist special customer cases when Network coordination is required;
- Coordinate for DB provider requests from Sales and Client Management teams;
Qualification
- College graduate with 2-3+ years of experience working in health insurance or healthcare industry. Medical background is necessary.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin in writing, reading and verbal; other Chinese dialects preferred.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to work in a complex highly matrixed environment, including balancing priorities of multiple organizations to deliver results. Dependency on interdepartmental resources that may be “matrixed relationships” to resolve key service issues.
- Effective process improvement and problem resolution skills.
- Technological competence in outlook and MS Office proficiency including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Effective communication and interaction with other business units. E.g. Service Center, Technology, Sales, Client Management, Global Network Management, Global Health & Wellness.
