PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:

• Provide leadership to the overall credit & Collection function and make sure the function is properly organized, staffed, developed, motivated in order to achieve the company’s goals for accounts receivable management.
• Refine “Order-To-Cash” cycle continuously with business team, aiming at maximizing effectiveness and efficiency of credit and collection functions.
• Initiates, drives and supports process improvements by innovation and harmonization in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Leads improvement projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership to the overall Credit, Collection and AR function and make sure the function is properly organized, staffed, developed, motivated.
• Investigate & evaluate customers’ credit, and grant/suggest credit terms/limit to customers accordingly；
• Lead AR Accountant to perform collection and risk management, improve DSO and minimize bad debts
• Maintain and update customer master files, review existing credit terms and limits annually.
• Control credit status and release deliveries according to approved credit terms, limit and credit release authorization.
• Timely manage accounts receivable, control pass due AR and DSO to meet company goals, and update collection follow up actions. Identify high risk situations and communicate to management so action can be taken timely and avert the risk. Must be able to balance the AR risk with the company’s revenue targets.
• Monitor relative departments to timely reconcile AR with customers, obtain customer confirmed monthly statement with signature and company chop.
• Manage collection risk and control bad debt, timely reserve bad debt provisions for doubtful accounts.
• Monitor AR and VAT invoice relative process.
• Work with legal and external agents to follow up Bad debt collection, property
• ?investigation and lawsuit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 year university degree with Major in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred
• Minimum 8 years experience in Finance with roles in credit control and AR management.
• Hands on SAP experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communicational and negotiation skill
• Detail oriented and performs well under pressure and work independently.
• Can deliver results with minor supervision.
• Fluent English, both Spoken and Written
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills
