The Role The role of a Campus Senior Recruiter is to work within the existing recruiting team to help drive all aspects of campus recruiting for the Greater China Region. With broad-based capabilities – but with particular experience and passion for recruiting students from local and international universities, the Campus Senior Recruiter is responsible for the following:
- Play an active role in the creation and implementation of our campus recruiting strategy for the Greater China Region
– Understand talent needs within and across the Greater China offices, industry and functional practices
– Manage several campus sources on behalf of the Greater China Region
– Develop location specific messaging and value proposition to attract top talent to the location. ?
Provide end-to-end management of the candidate through their progression in the recruiting process (internships and full-time positions)
– Manage a high volume of online applications, including processing applications, tracking candidate assessment results and updating the recruiting system regularly
– Interview scheduling, responding to general questions, generating offer letters, planning, designing and executing tailored cultivation and onboarding strategies
– Build strong relationships with candidates to understand decision making criteria and provide counsel ?
Plan, coordinate and drive campus hiring activities:
– Attract and develop candidate interest in McKinsey’s Greater China Region
– Plan and execute attraction and cultivation events (e.g., content presentations, small group events, interview days, oversea interview trips, dinners, office visits)
– Lead and manage candidate screening and selection process
– Evaluate candidates using McKinsey specific assessment methodologies
Desired Skills and Knowledge ?
At least 3 years of recruiting experience gained while working within a corporate recruiting function focused on identifying, attracting and hiring highly talented young professionals who are in great demand ?
Comfort in managing the full lifecycle of recruiting candidates including highly developed skills in candidate attraction and event logistics management. ?
Goal driven, has the ability to pro-actively take initiative and is comfortable working with minimal direction ?
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadline with quick turnaround schedule ? Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills; ability to build working relationships with candidates, consultants, and recruiting colleagues ?
Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity
? Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, at ease with abundance of details and complexity, yet mindful of big picture, ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and carry them out independently ?
Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient with excel and power point
? Strong client services orientation; professional services experience attractive ? Flexible to travel and work outside of standard office hours ?
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus ?
Fluency in English is a must, Mandarin is a plus ?
Preferred Location: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen ? (Other locations may be considered)
