WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

The successful candidate will join DW Engineering team made up of software development professionals who take pride in delivering products that serves hundreds of thousands of customers, generate hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue, and create tools which provide the best omni-channel customer experience.

Responsibilities

· Recruit, train, manage, motivate, and grow a talented, highly productive, shared responsibility team

· Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the skills and motivation to make things happen

· Lead the DW Business Technology development projects, delivering high quality products that delights our customers on schedule & within budget

· Partner with managers, software architects, technical leads and key individuals within other functional organizations and product teams

· Establish best engineering practices across the product line group & sites, and functions.

· Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across various development teams and projects

· Manage project deliverables and risks, predicting impacts, avoiding derailments & pursuing actions with calculated risks

WHAT YOU ARE GREAT AT

· Bachelor or Master’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Engineering

· 8+ years of working experience in SW engineering with at least 3+ years of experience as a software development manager

· 5+ years hands-on programming skills and experience in Node,JS, Java, or PHP

· Proven technical leadership skills, proven ability to coach others. Abilities to lead and influence up, down, and across the organization

· Demonstrates mature judgment when making engineering choices, and can reliably make the call between elegant and practical fixes

· Experience with Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Test Driven Development

· Experience in BI and Big Data architecture design and development

· Excellent communication and consensus building abilities in a complex global organization

· Successfully completed three or more commercial software development cycles

On a trip halfway across the world, founder Filip Tysander met an intriguing British gentleman with impeccable yet unpretentious style. The *** had a particular fondness for wearing his vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps. Inspired by his new acquaintance, Filip created his own line of watches - minimalist and refined.
The ***’s name? Daniel Wellington.
