Providing a high quality, accurate and timely scientific advice, to Siemens’s internal and external functions regarding the company’s products and the associated disease areas. Weight of each responsibility will be defined aligned with line manager for a certain period.

Areas of Responsibilities:

1. Analyze scientific & clinical care gap, develop and execute Medical Affairs plan within the therapy area(s) and with guidance from Medical Director/Managers

2. Remain up-to-date with relevant clinical development plans of the products and the disease areas in order to act as a source of medical expertise

3. To contribute to the successful performance of the current and future portfolio by optimizing the development of scientific and clinical data and make use of these data in related specific product or therapeutic area of responsibility

4. Work closely and provide medical and scientific advice within Solid related fields of interest, principally to Marketing & Sales departments and other departments

5. To provide medical and scientific input to the Siemens business, with the aim of providing high quality, accurate and timely scientific advice to all stakeholders: internal and external customers regarding the company’s products and associated disease area(s)

6. To establish the presence and reputation of the company through thought leadership, liaise with key opinion leaders in the fundamental issues affecting the industry and contribute to the advancement of the company

7. Give lectures to external and internal audiences (best practice and case summary and sharing)

8. Other projects or tasks assigned by supervisor or company

Education and Experience

1. Must have experience in hospital (ICU, Emergency medicine, Anesthesiology, Internal medicine background preferred), at least 1 years' working experience in multinational pharmaceutical industry in medical affairs

2. Ability to read, analyze professional information and write professional reports

3. Ability to solve problems independently, proactively

4. Analytical and conception thinking

5. Be good at communication, organization and coordination for commercialization purpose

6. Good command of spoken and written English

7. Clinical Medicine Master Degree or above with strong technical/professional knowledge/skills - strong Medical Affairs skills (eg. Study design, management and conduct of studies, medical writing, conduct panel expert meetings, medical information monitoring, symposium and workshop management)
