职位描述

POSITION PURPOSE:
A key IT business partner for the region, promoting alignment between business and ITS, building capability in support of business strategy. This role will lead first-of-a-kind IT initiatives in Consumer Sales and Marketing team in a leading market and highly technological country.
This role is aimed at better aligning IT initiatives to business priorities in **, and will participate in and lead exciting initiatives such as Trade Promotion Management, Sales Force Automation, and SAP projects
The role will be involved in project leadership and participation across the entire Sales and Marketing Organisation of ** Asia Pacific. The key to success will be to understand both local trends and technologies and build support for rapid execution considerate of global direction. The incumbent will have IT experience in large organisations (preferably consumer goods) and in the sales and marketing area

Key competencies of the incumbent include:
- SAP experience (configuration and/or development in SAP Sales and Distribution)
- Project management expertise
- Experience with Trade Promotion systems would be a bonus
- Excellent industry acumen in IT and sales/marketing domain
- Comfortable in working with local and global resources, and applying influence outside of own area.
- Experience in selling in solutions, and breaking new ground with first of a kind technologies
- Sound experience in building business cases.
REPORTS:
The incumbent reports to the Sales and Marketing IT Business Partner and may take functional work direction from a Project Manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED:
A Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience or 10 or more years of applied experience with demonstrated skills described in the Position Profile section.

Project management experience of over 3 years in dealing with medium to large initiatives

Verbal and written fluency in both English and Chinese is mandatory

Consulting experience in IT or strategy would be an advantage.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. A key business partner for ** Asia Pacific promoting alignment between business and ITS, building capability in support of business strategy.
2. Leading small or medium projects, or a team member of large projects
3. Support SAP Sales and Distribution modules, and particularly prior experience of SAP is required
4. Be involved in the regional roll-out of a new Trade Promotion system to manage sales team's promotions and pricing
5. Provide in depth knowledge of business needs within the CPG industry and a high level of skills and expertise in developing, enhancing and supporting local and regional IT capabilities and strategies, specifically the Sales and Marketing domain area.
6. Participate in the development of ITS strategic plans, communications, presentations and sell in of solutions throughout the region.
7. Use ** and industry contacts to fast-track the identification, business case and implementation of IT capabilities.
8. Maintain industry and domain expertise through self-directed study, contacts, and conferences.
9. Execute effective formal and informal communications techniques with principal and ITS staff in order to report status, solve problems, make recommendations, and publish standards and directions.
10. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
