职位描述

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

? Develop retail expansion and marketplace transformation strategy for brand-led store development initiatives in the target region(s)

? Ensure that key city, trade zone attack and store expansion plans are in line with location and channel strategies

? Establish strong working relationship with cross-functional and cross-cluster teams and regional retail development managers


Key Responsibilities:  

Location Strategy & Store Network Planning

? Understand and track marketplace developments at a granular level in the target country/clusters

- Work with outside agencies or in-country teams to Collect and track mall major mall projects and key competitors’ strategy at a granular, catchment level in key cities, and at a city level in mid/lower tier cities

- Develop store expansion strategy with focus on brand-led retail and major formats

- Build and maintain store segmentation methodologies

- Travel frequently to target region for on-the-ground understanding of opportunities and trends

? Manage key Marketplace Transformation projects, such trade zone attack strategy and planning; work with cross-function teams to assist in successful execution of program

? Set standards for and review Key City and Trade Zone Attack plans developed by country/cluster teams

? Develop specific analytic approach and conduct advanced and technical data analysis

? Build persuasive reports for delivery to market and country/cluster senior leaders


Communication and execution

? Translate analytic results into concrete implications and recommendations to meet user needs

? Develop strong working-level rapport with country/cluster planners and generate buy-in from stakeholders, including cross-functional teams

? Create persuasive outputs and reports to guide discussion and planning activities


Others

? Presentation to Senior Leadership Teams – deliver high quality presentations to the Managing Director and other senior managers

? Special projects:  Engage on other major cross-functional and cross-country/cluster projects (as required)

? Internal: Global, HQ & Region Real Estate Team, Region sales and Key Account team, Finance,  Strategic Planning Team

? External: External consultants or other data/information resources

? Advanced statistical methods and analytic techniques – experience with and expertise in:

- Large dataset manipulation and data mining

- Statistical analysis in business context: regression, predictive modeling, segmentation/cluster analysis, conjoint analysis etc.

- Spatial analysis on GIS system is preferred

? Solid business sense and critical-thinking ability – able to solve problems using both conventional judgment and ad-hoc analysis

? Mature and credible interpersonal skills– able to quickly build trust and act as an influencer across the retail development team and related team

? Willingness to learn – a drive to learn about all aspects of the business and develop general management competency


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

? 8+ years of general business experience – including extensive experience in a data analytics function

? Experience with a global consumer goods brand and/or modern retailer

? Experience in working closely with middle and senior managers across functions

? University degree or above in Math, Statistics or other quantitative subject

? GIS background is preferred

? High proficiency or expertise with database, statistical and business intelligence systems (e.g., SAS, SPSS etc)

? Fluent written and spoken English

? Delivery of related initiatives and modules on-time and with high quality

? Development of strong rapport with key stakeholders

? Relevance of analysis, reporting and tools to business priority needs

? User feedback on analysis, reporting and tools
