Job Description

As Workshop Engineer for the Application Center in Asia, you will be part of our Asian Hub within the Global Projects organisation. We have the responsibility to design & manufacture fixtured nutrunner systems and other such applications such as torque reaction arms and software solutions. Our customers are inChina,Korea,JapanandSouth East Asia.

This position is responsible for the assembly and integration of fixtured tooling which includes:

？ Mechanical Assembly of tooling

？ Electrical assembly and wiring of controls

？ Pneumatic assembly of air logic and air cylinders

？ Test & Debug on workshop floor

Mission

Your mission is the assembly, integration and test of individual projects to produce high quality customer solutions utilizing Atlas Copco standards and best practises.

You will be responsible for:

？ Mechanical Assembly of tooling

？ Electrical assembly and wiring of controls

？ Pneumatic assembly of air logic and air cylinders

？ Checking quality of suppliers work/components

？ Installing standard fastening programs in to the the Atlas Copco Controllers using proprietary software

？ Understanding local government electrical codes

？ Debug of pneumatic circuitry

？ Debug of mechanical scope-of-work

？ Working closely with Project Management Dept

？ Working closely with Mechanical Engineering Dept

？ Working closely with Production Control Dept

？ Test & Debug of our equipment on workshop floor

？ Ensuring safe work practises are always being utilized and considered within the workshop.

This position reports to the Engineering/Workshop Manager ACA, within the Motor Vehicle Division.

Experience Requirements

Knowledge of operating milling machine.

Read both mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings/schematics.

At least 5 years mechanical and electrical assembly experience in Automation or similar industry.

Education requirements

College of or equivalent.

Electrician certificate is a must.

A certificate of working on the higher levels and a safety officer are plus.

Knowledge

Fluent in both oral and written Chinese

Can basically speak and written English

Office software
