Daniel Wellington’s Business Controlling & Business Development team is developing and we are looking for a new talent. As a Business Controller & Business Development Manager you will be located in the China Headquarter in Shenzhen and report to our Head of Business Controlling & Business Development China. We are looking for a career-aspiring talent who is ready to grow within the organization and eventually become an integral part of the Management Team. WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

• Support Business Controlling & Business Development team in growing Daniel Wellington China in terms of cross-channel sales, profitability, customer experience and omnichannel strategy.
• Proactively support with analysis, projects, reports and development – turning numbers into actions – always with the focus to drive sales, profitability and business growth.
• Analyse and monitor short-term (daily/weekly/monthly) KPIs, as well as driving long-term business strategy and organizational optimization projects, including 3-5 year plans.
• Persistently manage a range of different tasks under time pressure including routine reports, data collection, data cleaning, deep data analysis, and cross-functional ad-hoc requests.
• Support the organization in assessing and identifying potential data-driven business development opportunities and business risks; utilizing both internal and external data.
• Build, design and maintain reports in Excel and Tableau for cross-functional departments.

WHAT YOU’RE GREAT AT

Our ideal candidate is a hard-worker with high degree of self-motivation and determination. You’ll be given plenty of responsibility from day one, and with excellent self-leadership skills you see what needs to be done, and you do it. We are looking for someone who is leaning forward and possess a developed analytical skill with high integrity. You find it easy to see the whole and can make the complex simple. You are fluent in Mandarin and English.

You are responsible for the whole process – from raw data analysis and setting targets to follow-up and profitability. You are a leader, a comfortable presenter and are excellent in converting complex data into high level reports and strategic actions.

• We believe that you have a MSc or BSc in Business / Management / Engineering / Computer Science or other relevant field.
• You have over 5 years’ experience from business analysis, data analysis, business development and/or controlling in e-commerce, retail and/or customer experience.
• You have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing environment and to build strong relationships across the business.
• You are hard-working, comfortable with working long hours, self-driven, and are not afraid to go the extra mile to get the work done.
• You have a passion for big data, deep analysis and are familiar working with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in Tableau, Redshift, SQL and VBA is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English is important for this job as your colleagues are spread across the entire world.

You are a highly motivated, driven and detail oriented person, willing to make a difference. On a trip halfway across the world, founder Filip Tysander met an intriguing British gentleman with impeccable yet unpretentious style. The *** had a particular fondness for wearing his vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps. Inspired by his new acquaintance, Filip created his own line of watches - minimalist and refined.
The ***’s name? Daniel Wellington.
