Scope of the job.
a. Cell culture (mammalian primary and cell lines, neuron and stem cells; 3D cell culture); generation of stable cell lines.
b. Generation of genetically modified cell lines using different gene editing techniques, including CRISPR/Cas9.
c. Conduction of functional cell-based assays with flow cytometer and microscope (fluorescence confocal)
d. Routine molecular biology experiments, e.g., DNA and RNA isolation and quantification using gel electrophoresis, Bioanalyzer, and qPCR, analysis of protein and posttranslational modifications (Western blot, ELISA, In-Cell Western blot and ELISA), etc.
e. Assay development and validation.
f. Effective in writing protocols, analyzing and interpreting results, and writing reports.
g. Preferable with experiences in high throughput and high content drug screening.
h. Design and execution of experiments with minimal supervision.


Core business/Functional skills and education.
a. Education: Ph.D., Master or bachelor degree in cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, genetics, oncology, or immunology with related experiences.
b. Background: Solid knowledge and experiences in cell biology, familiar with different in vitro disease models. Extensive experience in different cell-based analysis technology, and molecular biology techniques.
c. Critical experience: Extensive experiences in cell biology, molecular biology, and general biochemistry laboratory experiment design and execution.
d. Training skills: SOP writing, SOP validation and training. Related experiment training.
e. Lab management: Knowledgeable in biotech laboratory management.
f. Language: Proficient in writing and speaking in Chinese and English.
g. Others: Skilled in application of Microsoft office, Outlook, etc.
