Essential Responsibilities
Description:

The Financing & Commercial Finance Analyst provides leadership in driving visibility, forecasting, accurate and timely reporting of financing program and commercial finance related metrics for GE Healthcare in Mainland China, with limited complexity. He/she typically works across finance and operational functions one three major areas:
I) closely monitor GE Healthcare’s financing program related pricing, credit approval, documents preparation, receivable & collection tracking and financial reporting.
II) Coordinates and supports GE Healthcare’s past due collection, KYC process, quarterly financial close, weekly sales call mechanism, provides strong commercial finance support to HCS equipment business.
This role will report to Healthcare China cash manager and dotted-line to China Commercial Finance FP&A Manager.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Own Healthcare’s financing program related pricing, credit approval, document preparation for quarterly monetization, financial reporting, collection follow up.
• Quarterly DR11 past due reporting. Led data consolidation and reporting for Greater China region.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational and transactional processes in respect to financing.
• Conduct KYC process for Healthcare’s Private Sector, establish credit control before hand.
• Led past due collection mechanism of Private Sector, drive visibility and ownership of past due collection and support the business to deliver good results.
• Support Commercial finance team on quarterly financial close, work on CCS sales reconciliation.
• Support on weekly sales call mechanism, help commercial finance leader and sales leader on driving intensity and delivering result.
• Other Ad hoc project to optimize existing process and deliver productivity.
Qualifications/Requirements

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 4 years financial work experience
2. Demonstrated experience with U.S. GAAP and local GAAP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven working experience related to accounting or financial management
• Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills: able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to influence operational leaders as well as finance leaders
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams
• Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
• Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
• Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
