Essential Responsibilities
• Leading, developing, and executing strategic pricing initiatives across GE Healthcare in partnership with region and business teams that improve price setting, price getting, and price netting
• Facilitating downstream pricing programs by partnering with global & region pricing stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining pricing dashboards to monitor impact and to drive pricing actions
• Performing data analysis to support ad hoc pricing projects; draw pricing related insights from analysis
• Partnering with the Finance and Analytics teams to drive downstream programs
• Assisting in the development of digital pricing tools & metrics leading to more robust deal decisions and
• predictability
• Partnering with upstream pricing teams on ad hoc pricing projects
• Leading specific process improvement activities to improve pricing governance and infrastructure in the regions
• Driving global pricing digitization programs with pricing stakeholders
• Sharing global best practices and instilling pricing rigor across GE Healthcare
Role Summary/Purpose
The Global Pricing Manager is responsible for leading and driving strategic pricing programs across GE Healthcare. Manager will partner with region and business stakeholders to monitor the price performance of the portfolio and recommend, develop, and implement pricing actions to adapt to the current environment and deliver business impact. Additionally, Manager will be responsible for execution of the pricing governance and infrastructure programs deployed in the regions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
2. 8+ years of experience in pricing, marketing, finance, or a related field
3. Demonstrated skill to clearly assess financial impact of business actions, recommend, and implement strategy
4. Successfully led cross-functional projects / process improvement
5. Demonstrated ability to understand market dynamics and successfully counsel Sales teams to win and grow volume while optimizing price / margin.
6. Excellent verbal and written skills
Desired Characteristics:
1. Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
2. 10+ years of experience in pricing, marketing, finance, or a related field
3. Strong track record of working collaboratively to tackle cross-functional issues
4. Demonstrated analytical and statistical problem-solving skills
5. Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive
level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in a easy to
understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
6. Proven record of accomplishment of establishing and managing project plans, adjusting to
changing circumstances. Prioritizes and effectively controls key milestones.
7. In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes
8. Effective at building relationships across the organization
9. Leadership and influence skills
10. Team oriented – ability work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
11. Healthcare industry experience with industry knowledge of competitive pricing levels
12. Global Project experience
