Job Description:
In this role you will work on the bring-up, verification and validation, debug, and long term characterization and optimization of ASIC projects at Alibaba. You will develop and execute test plans for functional validation. You will collaborate closely with design, design verification, and Design for Test teams in the development phase of the ASIC life-cycle, ensuring proper features are inplace for post-silicon validation. You will work closely with both hardware and software teams to successfully validate designs, and to identify design issues.
Responsibilities:
%3E Participate in silicon bring-up & post-silicon validation with the objective of driving product to mass production.
%3E Develop new methodologies to improve the silicon validation process and maintenance of overall validation plan.
%3E Interface characterization to ensure electrical compliance to industry standards (PCIe, DDRx, etc)
%3E Power consumption and performance test.
%3E Functional stress testing to facilitate SKU/Speed binning and stability improvements.
Requirements:?
%3E 5+ year experience in system validation and first silicon bring-up.
%3E Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)
%3E Experience with test plan and test development.
%3E Experience with silicon debug in the lab environment.
%3E Experience with industry standard I/O interfaces (PCIE, DDRx, SERDES, SPI, I2C, JTAG etc.)
%3E Experiences with PCB EDA software is a plus (Cadence, Mentor, etc).
%3E Experience with script programming languages is a plus. (SKILL, Batch, C, C++)
%3E Candidate should be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
%3E May require traveling to other offices from time to time.
Education
Master or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
