Overview:
The Asset Protection District Manager will be responsible for the protection of company assets, both tangible and intangible. They will effectively communicate, train, implement, and monitor all aspects of Asset Protection programs in their assigned area. These programs include Tier Shrink Reduction Program, Training and Awareness, Operational Audits, Investigative Initiatives, etc. They will also provide leadership and direction to all levels of company employees regarding Asset Protection and Safety concerns. Supports Brand Protection initiatives as required.

Responsibilities:
? Working in close collaboration with Regional and Country Management, identify & manage the execution of the retail and supply chain strategies to support overall shrink reduction and achieve division shrink budgets;
? Communicate, implement and monitor the Tier Shrink Reduction Program in stores across the country in accordance with corporate direction;
? Promote a safe working and shopping environment for all employees and customers;
? Conduct all aspects of internal and external investigations including development, resolution and prosecution of cases in accordance with the Investigations Department.
? Train and monitor Operational Compliance through execution of the Audit Program, and effective communication / follow up with all Field Business Partners;
? Promote associate awareness through active participation and increased involvement in the Shrink Awareness Program;
? Introduce, train and monitor correct application and usage of all Asset Protection technology, initiatives, and programs in their country;
? Develop and maintain effective business partnerships between Asset Protection and Store Management, Operations, Human Resources, Legal and all other Field Business Partners;
? Interact with local law enforcement agencies and represent Polo Ralph Lauren in legal proceedings as required;
? Compile, monitor and track all expenses, and ensure compliance with budget allocated to Asset Protection;
? Provide administrative support to Senior Director of Asset Protection; i.e. oversee asset protection contracts, liaise with vendors, compile departmental reports and presentations and organize meetings as required;
? Develop and maintain files and databases;
? Ensure that all paperwork and reports are accurately submitted in a timely basis, in accordance with established timelines;
? Coordinate guarding and systems maintenance needs for all locations in Taiwan;
? Support any Brand Protection initiatives as and when required;

Position Requirements:
? Integrity of character; Professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
? Experience working within the Asia Pacific region and with emphasis on China and Taiwan;
? Ability to travel frequently within the region and cross straits (PRC -Taiwan) in order to support the business needs;
? Technical: A good general knowledge of security systems and equipment;
? Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail;
? Ability to prioritize and multi-task many competing projects and work in a fast-paced environment;
? Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and apply strong problem solving skills;
? Excellent communications skills, with ability to deal with persons in numerous departments and positions within and outside the organization;
? Team player with willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs within the department;
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including, Word®, Excel®, Powerpoint® and Outlook®

Experience:
? Minimum four years in retail Asset Protection, Operations and/or Inventory Control role.
? Multi-store, specialty experience preferred.
? Brand Protection experience an advantage.
