The Molecular Informatics Department performs Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and Chem/Bioinformatics to support drug discovery programs of small molecules and biologics within the R & D center at Shanghai Hengrui Pharmaceutical Inc (www.shhrp.com).

Opening position

Research Associate/Scientist:

We have an open position in the molecular informatics department in the R & D center at Shanghai Hengrui Pharmaceutical Inc. This person will actively provide computational support for biologics drug discovery projects at different stages independently or under limited supervision. In addition, he/she should be an active contributor to the advancement of the key technologies within the organization, and share computational expertise within the organization.

Requirements:

1. At least MS degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or other related majors in life sciences
2. Ideal candidates should have expertise and proven track records in at least one of the following fields: protein engineering and design, machine learning (AI), molecular modeling, data modeling, as well as bioinformatics.
3. Previous scientific programming experience is an advantage, proficiency in Python, R or SVL is highly preferred.
4. Training and in depth knowledge in structural biology are highly desirable;
5. Good verbal and written communication skills, and fluent in Chinese and English;
6. Fast learner, team player, creative thinker and passionate about drug discovery and life sciences;

2. 应用机器学习、分子模拟等前沿技术进行数据分析，并构建理论模型以指导药物设计。

    

3. 基于文献调研与数据挖掘，改进完善现有的计算方法，开发新的计算方法或流程。

任职要求：

1. 在药学、化学、生命科学、计算机科学取得硕士及以上学位；
2. 在蛋白质设计、机器学习（AI）、生物信息学、分子模拟等一个或多个领域具有丰富的经验；
3. 具有较强的编程能力，能熟练使用Python、R或SVL者更佳；
4. 具有独立分析和解决问题的能力、创造性思维、快速的学习能力、团队合作精神，并对药物发现和生命科学充满激情。
5. 良好的口头和书面沟通技巧，中英文流利；
